Report for Thursday, Nov 15th

This week’s Pop Quiz Theme, celebrities who own their own multi-engine jets. Today, who owns their own jet, is it Barry Manilow, Bruno Mars, Jimmy Buffett or Sting?

Good News/Bad News for Bill Cosby. Bad News, his latest hardship request to be let out of jail will be denied Monday. Good News, Cosby is getting a trip to California October 7 of next year. That’s when he will go on trial for raping a model at the Playboy mansion. F.Y.I., that mansion even smells nasty, and that Grotto really stinks.

Movie News: The fire isn’t even out yet, and already there are several producers planning a movie on the Paradise California fire. F.Y.I., there are still hundreds missing. Meanwhile the Golden Globes and Oscar officials are working together to secure funds for the California fire victims. Wow, celebrities doing something positive.

TV News: CBS is # 1, NBC is #2, and FOX and ABC are way behind, despite ABC nightly news being #1 in that platform. Steve Colbert and Jimmy Fallen are now tied, however they still don’t have the numbers Leno and Letterman once had.

Odds and Ends: Seems odd that Paul McCartney is looking to move from the lower West Side of N.Y. to midtown and has looked at the Dakota where John Lennon was murdered. … If you are a nervous flyer and like a drink before flying, don’t go to England. They have passed a new law, no alcohol sold at England Airports. … Alec Baldwin is fed up, disgusted and hates the paparazzi so much, he’s told friends he may just retire. Comment, only thing bigger than his temper is his ego, he won’t retire. … Jeff Goldblum has released a jazz album and he plays wicked piano on this great LP. … And, how much do I love Christmas? Last night we put our Christmas tree up, and let me be the first to say Mele Kalikimaka, Hau’oli Makahiki Hou! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
