Movie Review – Jersey Boys, about the Four Seasons opens in the 1950’s with a 16 year old Frankie Valli training to be a barber and hanging in the barber shop is, Gyp DeCarlo, a criminal played by Christopher Walken. It turns out the Four Seasons could have done four years for the crimes they committed before music took over their lives. This movie is not perfect – it’s a little long but very entertaining and music is fabulous! Jersey Boys opens tomorrow. – RATED R – 134 MINUTES – 3 STARS.
NY Post Headline – The story was about a judge squashing Paul Simon and his wife’s arrest for disorderly conduct and espionage the court testimony, making it all just disappear. The headline screamed, “Paul Simon Charges, Slip Sliding Away”.
Odds and ends – Lindsay Lohan says she has no plans to return to the U.S., and will stay in England for at least a year where she can do what she wants, when she wants – without the paparazzi. Yesterday was Paul McCartney’s birthday and more worries about his health. The shows that were rescheduled after being hospitalized have been canceled again.
