Love Nugget: It’s been quietly talked about for a long time, albeit it not publicly, however with their public appearances together, no reason not to mention that Demi Moore obviously plays for both teams. Demi has long had a girlfriend named Masha Mandzuka, they often travel together. This has certainly been kept on the down low.
TV and Movie News: First TV news, you would think MTV would be ashamed or embarrassed to announce that on Jan 8th they will debut the Lindsay Lohan Beach Club, a much dumber, lamer, and ridiculous show than KUWK, Engaged and Underage, Date My Mom, Hills and Laguna Beach, and Honey Boo Boo. Simply pitiful. … Jennifer Aniston has just signed to star in Netflix’s Dumplin’. She plays the mother of a fat daughter who enters a Beauty Contest. Sounds simply hideous. … For the record, Saturday Night Live’s ratings just keep going down like an elevator. … On February 17th NBC will air a tribute to Elvis that will include the greatest names from the musical world will perform, including Cher, Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan. There will be a biopic of the life story of Prince, can’t wait. … Interesting that the movie Crazy Rich Asians has opened in Asia and it has flopped. … The Golden Globe nominations will be announced Thursday.
Odds and Ends: Prayers go out to Beth Chapman, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife who is battling cancer and has left the hospital. The Chapmans are from California, Colorado and of course for a long time Kama’aina in good standing from my home, Hawaii.
And a shout out to a celebrity who does something special at Christmas. Emma Watson who gives out hundreds of presents to orphans at parties in the U.S. and in England.
