This week’s Pop Quiz, all about Presidents. Who was the fattest President to ever serve? Was it Grover Cleveland, Zachary Taylor, William McKinley or Howard Taft?
As you know, since we last spoke George H.W. Bush passed, I’ve met several Presidents, but never 41, but he was a great American and human being, and may he rest in Peace.
Love Nuggets: I am hearing that the 22 year old actress who came forward last week claiming Les Moonves, the disgraced fired CBS President, will not be the last. … And with police in Los Angeles, New York and London wanting to talk to Kevin Spacey about several sexual assault and harassment charges, it’s become a guessing game where Spacey is hiding. I hear Fiji, Samoa or Mississippi. That’s just crazy.
TV News: Amazon is producing a new mini-series college football drama and has signed Aaron Rodgers and Desmond Howard as executive Producers and advisers. The show will concentrate on a lot of players from poor neighborhoods who are put under tremendous pressure to perform on and off the field for no money, while the universities make millions. This could be a real eye opener. … I loved This Is Us on NBC but then it got boring. But now, I love it again. Unfortunately, the season is over. I recommend you get it, binge it.
Odds and Ends: How are your neighbors? For the record, When Madonna was living in Detroit, then L.A. and now with her living in New York, every place Madonna has lived police have been called on her by neighbors. Not surprised. … Recently had dinner at a Steakhouse in Texas, and at the bottom of the menu it said, “Vegetarian is an Indian word for bad hunter.” … Reminds me, saw a billboard that read, “Thousands of men will die of stubbornness.” And underneath somebody had very crudely spray painted, “No we won’t.”
Answer – Taylor weighed 236 pounds, McKinley 240, Grover Cleveland 275, but the biggest guy was Howard Taft, tipping the scales at a whopping 332 pounds.
