Love today’s report because there is so many different things to talk about.
First, while there is always a lot of hoopla regarding Coachella, the prices have been going up, security going down, artist not nearly as big, more restrictions and on and on. That would explain why Coachella was not sold out this year! However, Stagecoach that follows Coachella is should out. This years artist include Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson and despite being a country music event, the new cowgirl Beyonce will perform. Ya-hoo, Stagecoach!
Quick Movie Nugget: Tom Cruise News, he has green-lighted Top Gun 3, it’s a go! And his Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2 will hit screens May 25, 2025! And Cruise did not contact his daughter Suri last week on her 18th birthday. Jerk.
Sports Nuggets: So Reggie Bush is finally getting his Heisman Trophy back. He was awarded the Heisman in 2005, stripped in 2010 when it was proven his family received some restricted benefits for him playing at USC! Sure it was wrong, but Reggie deserved the Trophy for what he did on the field. The dude I was disgusted with was the USC coach Pete Carroll. Is It True, he knew what was happening and when the NCAA laid down huge penalties against USC, Carroll escaped just ahead of the posse and took a big buck gig with the Seattle Seahawks, while the school suffered for three years!
Which reminds me, I’m still P.O.’d that Pete Rose isn’t in the baseball Hall of Fame. Yes, he did gambled, but what he did on the field deserves credit.
