This week’s Pop Quiz, all about Presidents. Name the president who fainted at the sight of blood. Is it Teddy Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, Donald Trump, or Ulysses S. Grant?

There is a great film on Netflix and in limited release called, Dumpling. Produced and starring Jennifer Aniston, and this is a truly delightful film. Aniston was the Miss Texas Bluebonnet Queen as a teen and now she’s the head of the pageant and shocked when her tubby daughter has entered the current pageant. The daughter is brilliantly played by Danielle Macdonald. Sound track supplied by Dolly Parton, and the music is fabulous, as is the movie. (3 ½ Stars).

The Golden Globes were announced yesterday, and her are my instant picks for the winners in the biggest categories, and I feel confident.

Best Movie Drama, Green Book. … Best Movie Comedy/Musical, Bohemian Rhapsody. … Best Actress Movie Musical/Comedy, Emily Blunt in Mary Poppins Returns. … Best Actress in a Movie Drama, Rosamund Pike in A Private War. … Best Actor Movie Drama, Rami Malek in Bohemian Rhapsody. … Best Actor in a Movie Musical/Comedy, Christian Bale in Vice. … TV Drama, Killing Eve. … TV Comedy/Musical, Kominsky Method. … Best Limited TV Series, Assassination of Gianni Versace. …  Best Actress is a Limited TV Series, Patricia Arquette in Escape at Dannemora. … Best Actor Limited TV Series, Darren Criss for Assassination of Gianni Versace. … What’s funny, Nominated for Best Actress in a TV Comedy, Candice Bergen, who was hideous, and the show, Murphy Brown has already been cancelled.

FYI, there were a lot of snubs on the TV side. This is Us, Yellowstone, Black-ish, Orange is the New Black and Better Call Saul. … On the movie side, Mary Queen Of Scots, Widows, First Man, Momma Mia Here We Go Again, all took the pipe.

Answer – Although he was a great battlefield General, Grant would often faint at the sight of blood.
