I start off with some happy news about a celebrity. While many celebrities are over paid, over sexed, conceded jerks, let me point out a celebrity who is the exact opposite! This celebrity very quietly gives money, time and now even some of his properties to those in were affected by the recent Los Angeles fires, Kevin Costner. With the recent fires in SoCal, Costner not only opened his home to friends that were fire victims. He opened three homes he owns in Santa Barbara and another nearby cities to people who were either evacuated or actually lost their homes. These people are friends or acquaintances. Good on him.
Say What Department: So late Tuesday night lawyers for Blake Lively who is taking fellow actor and director Justin Baldoni to court charging him with sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment, that she has two more witnesses. According to Blake, these unnamed actresses will testify Baldoni caused an uncomfortable environment on the set. Again, say what? Not rape, not sexual assault, not even Sexual harassment. I could be wrong but I believe husband Ryan got jealous over nothing and caused this whole stink that will eventually be thrown out of court. Hey, this is Hollywood.
I have been so blessed in my long career, covering everything from Michael Jackson, O.J. Simpson, Timothy McVeigh and Scott Peterson trials, covering the JonBenet Ramsey case, five Presidential Inaugurations, the Oscars, Golden Globes, Super Bowls, World Series, Championship fights and on and on. But the most fun I’ve had in my career was traveling and covering the Los Angeles Dodgers many years ago. And while those days are long gone, I am thrilled that the Dodgers are playing the Chicago Cubs today. Yep, the first Spring training game leading to the 2025 baseball season. I can’t wait!
