Unbroken should have been nominated for best picture, and Angelina Jolie for Unbroken director, but neither were. Clint Eastwood was still another director ignored for American Sniper! Jennifer Aniston was snubbed for Best Actress in Cake. St. Vincent’s Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy both passed over and so was Amy Adams in Big Eyes and she won Golden Globe. But most ridiculous was Great Budapest Hotel tied with most nominations, nine. And I actually walked out on Budapest.

Odds and Ends: Brad Pitt’s being blasted because when he was given an award at the PSFF, he flew in by helicopter, went in back entrance, got the award, made a speech went out the back door and flew back to LA. Brad says, “I appreciate the award but I prefer spending time with my family. I didn’t even want to the award.” PSFF should shut the front door.
