Movie Reviews: Opening Christmas is Fences and it’s one of my 5 all time! Denzel Washington Directs and stars along with Viola Davis, set in the 1950’s. Washington’s aging character was a great baseball player in the Negro’s, but not as lucky as Jackie Robinson, instead of playing baseball, became a Garbage man in Pittsburgh. His family lives with his dreams and nightmares and reality of life that makes him more bitter but stronger everyday. Brilliant! (PG-13) – (2 Hours 18 Minutes) – (4 Stars). … Then you have the sci-fi Passenger with Jennifer Lawrence that stars slow, get’s slower and the final 35 minutes are like a root canal (PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (1 Star). … Why Him is the old story of parents meeting the daughters new College boyfriend at Christmas. Only problem, it’s an old story, the acting is over the top and the jokes are not funny. Brian Cranston and James Franco just walk through this mess (Rated R) – (111 Minutes) – (1 Star).

I want to take a minute to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I grew up poor, both parents committed suicide, yet I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams. With that said, I love this country, and love my savior and may you and yours be blessed in 2017. Happy Birthday Jesus.
