The FX Network has a new mini-series coming in January called Trust. It’s the life story of J. Paul Getty, played by Donald Sutherland and will include the true story of Getty’s grandson being kidnapped and captors demanding $3.2 million ransom, which grandpa Getty said forget it. Then the kidnappers sent the kid’s ear in the mail, and Getty reluctantly paid $2.9 million. The kid was returned alive but died of what was believed to be an accidental overdoes in 2015.
