Pop Quiz – NBA Play-Offs are FULL STEAM AHEAD. You know about LeBron James and Dwight Howards and all the other super stars that make the big bucks, but how much does the LOWEST NBA player make a year? Is it $45,000, 245,000, or 545,000 a year?
TV News – There are very few people in TV that are disliked by everybody including crew, staff, production company, the network even caterers, but there is ONE person that fits the bill. It is David Gregory, the host of Meet The Press, a total jerk! He’s also taken the show from a 5.8 when Tim Russert was the host and was the number one show Sunday Mornings to a 2.1 – dead last place. This guy is the worse. FOX TV is doing a live version of Grease, and they want “Glee’s”, Darren Criss, to play John Travolta’s part, Taylor Swift to play Sandy, and Selena Gomez to play Rizzo.
This week a lot of shows will get the final word on their future. On the bubble, probably canceled is Ryan Seacrest’s, Mixology, Law and Order SUV, and Robin Williams’ show. While the Mentalists may get the axe from CBS, I hear that TNT will pick it up. Oh yeah, Hot In Cleveland will get picked up.
Odds and ends – Kate Upton, Cameron Diaz, and Heidi Klum were all at the Kentucky Derby. They all bet a lot on Wicked Strong and all lost. Tony Danza was there and bet a ton on a horse named after him – named DANZA. He also lost. I was NOT there but put a hundred on California Chrome. He won and so did I!
Answer – No minimum wage is NBA like NFL and Major League Baseball. Several players including Chris Wright of Milwaukee and Jared Cunningham of Sacramento make $45,000 a year.
