TV News: It’s been a bad summer for television. While the 1st True Detectives was fabulous, the new one with Vince Vaughn, Colin Firth and Rachel McAdams is so hard to follow and confusing, ratings are in the toilet, Under The Dome, should be put under the ground, Orange is the New Black has been blacked out by most viewers, Astronaut Wives Club never got off the ground, HBO’s Baller’s has been deflated and Humans wasn’t fit for consumption. But, the biggest bomb of the year is defiantly Ryan Seacrest’s Knock, Knock.
It’s only Tuesday but I have two Movie Reviews today, because I don’t want you to miss either one. Opening tomorrow Shaun The Sheep. Shaun’s day off turns into a full blown laugh out loud film when he and his buddies get stuck in the big city. This animated movie is a cute, warm, witty, delightful treat! (Rated – PG) – (85 minutes) – (4 stars) The other movie opens Friday and it is one of the best movies of the year. The Gift stars Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall and Joel Edgerton who wrote and directed this gem. Great script and great acting, a thriller that would make Alfred Hitchcock proud. When an old High School buddy named Gordo shows up out of the blue he appears to be normal but there is nothing normal about it! It will shock you, keep you on the edge of your site and give you the creeps. (Rated R) – (Under 2 Hours) – (4 Stars)
