I, like everybody, was shocked when I heard about Prince yesterday, after calling friends of friends of Prince, I understand he has been very sick for about 6 months but don’t know what the problem was. He was wild and flamboyant as Prince on stage, off stage he was introverted, quiet and generous to a fault. The last time I saw him was years ago at a KROQ show in Long Beach. His 1999 album is one of my all time favorites. There are legends and there are legends, he was the real deal. Prince Rogers Nelson, rest in peace.
Favorite foods of the Presidential Candidates. Bernie Sanders, Mexican Food and anything Vegan. Hillary Clinton, Shrimp Scampi and Meat Pies. Donald Trump, Pork Chops and Sea Bass. Ted Cruz, Kung Pao Chicken and creative Salads. John Kasich, Filet Mignon and Chicken Casseroles.
Movie Review: Okay, bare with me on this one, you have probably seen the famous picture of Elvis and Nixon shaking hands in the White House, now how that came about. Elvis showed up uninvited, was stoned, Nixon was star struck and completely dazed and confused. Very odd but yet fabulous casting, Kevin Spacey as Nixon and Michael Shannon as Elvis. I’m sorry, it’s so absurd, ridiculous, weird and bizarre. Love it. (Rated R) – (86 Minutes) – (3 Stars)
