Movie Reviews: Open now, Entourage on the big screen and with all the original cast returning from the HBO Show, headed by super-agent turned studio big wig, Ari Gold played by Jeremy Piven. The boys are still up to their old tricks – but even more so and everything is bigger, The houses, cars, and deals. Cameos include Tom Brady, Gary Busey, Billy Bob Thornton just to name a few. Can’t stress enough, if you are a fan of the show you will love the film. (Rated R) – (105 Minutes) – (2 ½ Stars)
Opening today, Love and Mercy. Touching, soul searching and very tragic! A biopic of Beach Boys Brian Wilson! I knew the Beach Boys from Hawthorne, California who hung out at 22nd Street Hermosa Beach. This movie tells the story you didn’t know! A must see! John Cusack plays the Brian Wilson as an adult and is as good as Jamie Fox was in Ray, and Dennis Quaid as Jerry Lee Lewis. But this is a better story! Brian is very troubled and this movie tells it all. Bring a handkerchief and please note you do not have to be a Beach Boys fan to love this movie! Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti are also excellent. (PG – 13) – (2 Hours) – (4 Stars)
