Movie Review: San Andreas opens today with Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Paul Giamatti. People who live here in California are waiting for the big one and if you’re looking for panic, the destruction of California, with great special effects, this is your movie. However if you are looking for a good script, good plot or decent acting of any kind, forget about it. (Rated PG 13) – (2 Hours) – (2 Stars) By the way, the movie says the killer quake registers a 9.1 in LA and 9.8 in SFO. Both are impossible since the San Andreas fault is not deep or long enough to register higher than 8.2. And, most buildings built over the past 30 years have been built to withstand a 8.2.
