Yeah, I’m having surgery today but will be back tomorrow. And today, happy to have two 4 Star Movie reviews. Start with our Pop Quiz Theme of Hollywood’s Best Friends. They hang out together at least twice a week, talk every day and even vacation together. Today, who is Dakota Fanning’s best friend? Is it Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson, Ariana Grande, or Kristen Stewart?
Now the movies, opening Friday is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This is a true breakthrough in animation and unique video with a story to match. The movie will keep your attention with a creative and fun plot, plus lots of laughs to match. There’s a multiple Spider family of humans and animals that is heartwarming and the whole family will love. Voices from Hailee Steinfeld to Lily Tomlin. A great film! (PG) – (100 Minutes) – (4 Stars).
Next is Aquaman, and I don’t know what the best part is, the creatures, the special effects, the story or the stars including Jason Namakaeha Momoa from Honolulu, who plays the lead role of Arthur. Movie also stars his mom played by Nicole Kidman who demands he attack and regain control of the 7 Seas and the Oceans of the world. Movie also stars Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard and Julie Andrews. The action is second to none, in fact, best action I’ve ever seen. You have to see it to believe it. (Rated R) – (Over 2 Hours) – (4 Stars). By the way Jason Momoa is married to Lisa Bonet and they have three children.
Sad News: With a judge ruling that Farrah Fawcett’s son Redmond is mentally fit to stand trial for 8 felonies including attempted murder, I predict he’ll get 30 years. … A lot of people are very worried about Cher’s tell all book coming out early next year. There’s going to be a lot of kiss and tell, some liars exposed, some illegal activities and kinkiness as well, at least that’s what I hear and expect. Stay tuned.
