We have all the scoop from the Emmy’s but first our Pop Quiz: With the U.S. Tennis Open starting this week in New York, who is the best celebrity tennis player, but not a pro. Is it Dr. Phil, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Anniston or Kate Upton?
Emmy’s Red Carpet: Jim Parsons brown tux, bad, Lena Dunham looked like an exploded giant cotton candy but the worse was Kelly Osborn with her mohawk and ugly purple hair. Hayden Panettiere is 9 months pregnant and looked fabulous. Amy Poehler looked great and there was a definite scent of pot on the Carpet. Host Seth Meyers was solid and while he was often funny he was never hilarious. My buddy weird Al Yankovick should have killed during his stichk but it flopped. As for my predictions, I hit 5 out of 7. The tribute to Robin Williams by Billy Crystal was very touching and very sad. All in all the show was an 7 out of 10.
Love Nugget: Cameron Diaz(41) and Benji Madden(35) have announced they are getting married next spring.
Great New York Post Headline: Story about a Taco Bell franchise owner who is being investigated for giving customers counterfeit 10 and 20’s when making change. Post headline screamed, “Beware of Taco Bills”.
Radical Reverends nut Al Sharpton could be fired from his MSNBC show because he has been accused of in sighting riots with his speeches in Ferguson Missouri, But my favorite Al Sharpton story was when he spoke at Michael Jackson’s funeral, and turned to Jackson’s 3 kids and said, “Don’t listen to what people say, I’m telling you the truth, there wasn’t nothing strange about your daddy.” Everybody laughed out loud!
