The worse movie ever made

For the record, the worse movie ever made and for your information was never released, was the Jerry Lewis’s first directorial film, made in 1972. When it was finished, Lewis watched it with 6 people and when it was over had that only print locked away for 50 years, and has never been seen since. The film is set during WW2, and Lewis plays a clown who is arrested for making fun of Hitler, sent to a concentration camp, and must stay in costume to calm Jewish children after there parents are taken away. Then Lewis’ character is accidentally sent to Auschwitz where in Pied Piper style he leads hundreds of children to their deaths in the gas chambers. Comedian Harry Shearer was one of the people who saw it back in 1972 and said, it defied explanation, said it was like the worse  nightmare on acid. The name of the film is The Day The Clown Died.
