Movie News: Founder is set for release next month, starring Michael Keaton who plays Ray Kroc. Kroc was a door to door restaurant salesman selling milk shake machines who came across the young McDonald brothers in Chicago who had just opened their hamburger joint, McDonald’s. The way they made burgers, their idea of adding sugar to the oil used to cook fries, Kroc decided we wanted to take over their business and franchise what we now know as McDonald’s.
