Movie Review: Opening today, 2nd Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and it’s just as charming and funny as the first film. We pick up a couple years where it left off. The hotel is doing great, they want to expand. All the stars are all back although Maggie Smith has some health issues. Great spirit, lots of characters and laughs! (Rated PG) – (2 Hours 2 Minutes) – (3 Stars)
TV News: Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster are getting their own Reality Show, Rod plays neighborhood soccer and he cooks. They are social butterflies with their celebrity friends, and Penny cracks the whip on him. My favorite Rod Stewart story is still when Rod paid cash for an Austin Martin, left the lot, drove the car 10 minutes, left it running and went into a store for a pack of smokes, came out, and the car gone, never seen again, had no insurance, because he paid cash for it.
Odds Casting: John Travolta is playing lawyer Robert Kardashian in the TV show American Crime Story. Travolta still trying to get financing for the movie where he could play gangster John Gotti. Also talk of a Travolta reality show.
Date in History, March 5. I believe this is darkest day in history! 1933, Adolf Hitler becomes the Director of Germany and announces the birth of the Nazi Party, like I said, darkest day in history. On a happier note, on this date in 1978 the Village People recorded, In The Navy. And sadly, on this date John Belushi OD’d and died at the Chateau Marmont.
