Report for Wednesday, Sept 6th

Love Nuggets: So last week, Prince Harry and Meghan attended the Beyonce concert at the SoFi Arena in Los Angeles. Meghan was really into it, even dancing by herself in their private suite, while Harry sat, looked bored and yawned. After the concert they were invited backstage to meet Beyonce. And every day since then Meghan has either hung out with Beyonce or they have talked by phone. Mean while Harry is no where to be seen. So new besties Beyonce and Meghan, ins’t that special.

Great News: Jamie Foxx seems to be back to normal! Five months ago Jamie was hospitalized, Jamie’s been out for a couple months, visiting friends, going to baseball games, playing Pickle Ball and traveling to Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami and Cabo. And now keeping steady time with his girlfriend, Alice Huckstep. Word is Jamie is in no rush to return to work and worth $85 million, is considering retiring for good.

A different kind of love. While Keanu Reeves has been called the nicest celebrity, my vote goes to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The Rock makes regular visits to Children’s Hospitals to surprise kids who have cancer. Dwayne comes with toys, spends a couple hours visiting kids, but no cameras or publicity are allowed. … That reminds me, I just learned that Keanu Reeves who was named the nicest celebrity, is considered the best celebrity bass player. His band Dogstar is pretty good too. 

Odds and Ends: Michael Jackson would have turned 64 last week and when I saw the Reverend Al Sharpton commenting on it, I was reminded of Michael’s funeral at Staples when Sharpton got up and told Michael’s three kids, “There wasn’t nothing strange about your daddy.” Hey, everything about Jacko was strange. When I heard Sharpton say that, I laughed out loud. … Finally, Gary Busey was involved in a hit and run auto accident, nobody hurt but police are investigating. My question, how did Gary Busey get a Drivers License?
