Music Notes: So sad, Phil Collins started his 22 city Genesis reunion tour on Monday, 11 cities in England, 11 in America. Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford are joining Phil. This will be their last tour, Phil Collins is wheel chair bound. Tickets sales are very slow.  Once a great drummer, a nerve disease now keeps Phil from even holding drumsticks. … It’s the first day of fall and already several stars are in studios making their Christmas album, including Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Elton John, and a big surprise, for the first time, Steve Perry of Journey is doing a Christmas album. 

TV News: Overnight ratings are  huge for Dancing With The Stars, but a much much younger audience. … I told you about Ken Burns latest biographer is on Muhammad Ali and now airing on PBS. It’s fabulous, and I hear Ken’s next project may be about Michael Jackson. … Streaming news, Clint Eastwood’s Cry Macho had 693,000 hits on HBO Max this week. And Cry Macho was the #1 new movie last week in Japan. That’s no surprise. 

Movie News: If you haven’t seen the just released trailer of Matrix Resurrections, you need to! If you thought Neo and Trinity were great in Matrix Revolutions, until they died. Surprise, I hear they are somehow back. This new flick has better effects and plot. Make a note, in theaters December 22nd and this movie you want to see in theaters.   

Odds and Ends: There were 73 arrests of NFL fans last weekend around the country, in stadiums and at tail gate parties. Charges ranged from disorderly conduct, assault, assault with a deadly weapon and sexual assault. What the hell is going on here!?. … Alec Baldwin is writing a book, not on parenting or getting along with people, on cooking. … Faith American Brewery Company is Kelsey Grammer’s own brand of beer and Ale. The brew is available mainly at limited stores on the east coast and it’s expensive.

And that reminds me of a sign I saw where I buy my vino, It read, “Drink wine, It’s not good to keep things bottled up.” With that, bottoms up.
