Biopic Movie News: Rocket Man is currently shooting, the Elton John biopic from a child prodigy to now. It stars Taron Egerton from Kingsman and Eddie The Eagle, the underdog English Olympic ski jumper. The dailies look great and Egerton is singing 90% of Elton’s songs, and he sounds just like Elton. Live footage is also part of the film, look for me at the famous Dodger Stadium concert. I’m wearing a Dodger hat and KROQ shirt. Release date Memorial Day, 2019. … There is a biopic about John Lennon and Paul McCartney being pitched and believe it or not, it has the blessings of both Paul and Yoko Ono, however the devil is in the details. … And Tom Hanks is currently shooting Mr. Rogers, yes, that Mr. Rogers from the kid’s TV show. And with make-up, Tom looks exactly like Mr. Rogers, it’s amazing. This movie will dwell into more of Roger’s private life. And this is odd, Tom Hanks will produce four made for TV, mini-series, all biopics, Lizzy Borden, Gorbachev, Lewis and Clark, and former boxing great Jack Johnson. … Jamie Lee Curtis and her Halloween franchise, after 40 years is finally ending! The last of this series will be released Halloween weekend. Thank God.
