Lot of big news today, I told you a month ago when the P-Diddy story broke that it was going to get ugly. I doubted Diddy would ever get bail. I also said I wouldn’t be surprised if Diddy never got out of jail. Well, now 121 more women have filed criminal or civil rape, sexual assault, kidnapping or sex trafficking charges against Diddy! And there is even talk of possible sexual abuse against children. And Is It True there could be some video tapes of Diddy’s Sex Freak Parties!? Mamma Mia.
Wow, a lot of death. Yesterday Frank Fritz, the smiley, always happy co-host of the American Pickers show died. Cause of death is Crohn’s Disease. Frank was just 60.
Word that John Amos has also died. John won an Emmy for his role as Kunta Kinte in the 1977 TV series, Roots. He was also known for movies, Coming to America and the Die Hard franchise. Best known for TV show, Good Times, where he played the dad! Amos also was a football star for Colorado State University and after college and before his acting career signed with the Kansas City Chiefs but retired due to injury! John was 84!
And it was shortly after sending you your report yesterday that we learned Pete Rose had passed away. While with the Dodgers, I got to know Pete. I hung with him when we were playing in Cincinnati as well as when they played in L.A. against the Dodgers. Rose was a great guy, but his own worse enemy. Paul Giamatti’s dad, Bartlett Giamatti was the Commissioner of baseball when the gambling scandal broke. I heard that if Pete would have just admitted it then, but swore he only bet on his team, he would have been suspended for two years and all forgotten, but he refused and instead denied everything.
