Report for Wednesday, May 24th

TV News: Every once and a while I like to remind you of an older show you may have missed that is very worth watching. Today, 1883, the Yellowstone prequel streaming now! 10 episodes, one season with Sam Elliot, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and introducing the darling, talented Isabel May. This is a great show (4 Stars). … Coming June 4th to HBO, The Idol! This series looks, smells and sounds a lot like the Britney Spears story, but producers say while there may be similarities, it has nothing to do with Britney. Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose stars (3 Stars).

Odds and Ends: Mick Jagger’s 51 year old daughter, Jade Jagger dodged a four month jail sentence in Spain following her arrest for assaulting a police officer after being arrested for causing a scene at a restaurant. Instead she got a hefty fine and probation. This isn’t the first run in Jade has had with police, happened before in Los Angeles, New York and London. … Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, has launched her own clothing line with a little help and tutelage from Paul McCartney’s daughter, Stella, who is  one of the top fashion designers in the world. Stella McCartney has a big heart and loves helping people. … That reminds me, Elton John is coming out with his own sunglasses line. … Just for the record, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook makes $1,142,755.20 a year. … With Memorial Day next week and summer just around the corner, if you are going to Vegas, there are a lot celebrities playing there. Including Garth Brooks, Katy Perry, Kieth Urban, Santana (one of my favorites), Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Lovitz, a band I used to book concert dates, The Grassroots, and ready, Barry Manilow. But be careful of gambling.

Sports Shorts: I love sports, I traveled with the Dodgers, covered World Series, spent time with the Knicks, Yankees, Mets and have covered Championship boxing matches, Final Four’s, Super Bowl’s, but got to say I was the happy Denver beat the Lakers. My favorite basketball players are Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan. But I never cared for LeBron James, his inflated ego and big mouth, I hope he retires.
