Hollywood News: The partial list of 2025 Hollywood Stars Walk of Fame has been announced. It was once the greatest honor to have your name on a star on Hollywood Boulevard. The first star was given to Joanne Woodward in 1960, 64 years ago! The walk has been spread out 2 miles! And there are now, are you ready, 2,683 Stars on the Walk. Before getting one you have to be approved by a committee, and you have to pay $50,000! Better late than never, on the new 2025 list of honorees, Jane Fonda, Prince and Colin Farrel! However also on the 2025 list is David Beckham. What the hell does David Beckham have to do with Hollywood? I mean he’s a soccer player, hello? Sidebar Johnny Depp has a history of having his limo pull over so he can pee on his star. Also interesting, Donald Trump has a star.
Sports Shorts and a Sports Movie: The Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup Monday! We still have the Olympics next month and more on that in the coming days and weeks. Baseball’s All Star game and The World Series are in the future. But how about this nugget, in just 36 days the first NFL pre-season football game will be played! The Chicago Bears and Houston Texans on ABC and ESPN, the Hall of Fame game. And the NFL and Hallmark television Network are teaming up with Skydance Sports to make a Christmas movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Details are sketchy but shooting starts in a few weeks at the Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium, just a mile from Hallmarks headquarters. All Hallmark is saying, it will show Community spirit, passionate fans and rich traditions. I have learned the movie will air Saturday December 7th.
