Hello’s it’s June, love me some June, It’s my wonderful wife Cheryl’s birthday month, my oldest daughter Natalie’s Birthday on Flag Day, National Egg day, Moonshine Day, Cancer Survival day, Queen Elizabeth Jubilee, Blood Donor Day, Hug Day on June 9th, and National Donald Duck Day.

TV News: The next Yellowstone starts shooting today in Missoula, Mt. Stay tuned.

Movie News: Disney has announced the new Pinocchio, the live action movie starring Tom Hanks is going straight to Disney Plus. No date when, if ever, it goes to theaters. Also means it’s not eligible for Oscar consideration. This is bizarre. And scoop is it…’s the best Disney movie ever made. …  More Scoop, Tom Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer spoke by phone yesterday to pat each other on the back over the success of Top Gun, and Jerry is already pushing for one more Top Gun, but Tom say’s absolutely no way.

Odds and Ends: Very odd, no reason given but Snoop Dogg has cancelled all his foreign trips. So what’s the problem, health, legal problems, what up? Reminds me, did you know there’s a mini-series produced by 50 Cent all about the 1993 trial when Snoop was on trial for murder. I covered that the same time I covered O.J.’s trial. … If you think your 401 is taking a beating, check this out. Mark Zuckerburg, Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos combined have lost over $200 billion in the market this year! … Another personal Mike Evans story, when I was with the Dodgers, one of our pitchers suffered what would be an apparent career ending injury. But an experimental surgery by Dr. Frank Jobe taking a ligament from one part of the body to rebuild his elbow saved his career. When he rejoined the team with a cast, he’d take long walks to stay in shape and I would sometimes join him for part of those walks, use to sit next to him on the Dodger plane. I got to know him and his wife Sally, really great folks. The surgery was so important and ground breaking the cast he wore and autographed by the Dodger team is going into the Smithsonian Institute this week. The pitcher’s name, my buddy, Tommy John.
