Movie News: Green light for Back to Black, the title of Amy Winehouse’s last record before her drug over dose in 2011. The biopic will be directed by Sam Taylor Johnson who did 50 Shades of Gray. Winehouse is the last to join the sad “27 Club”, celebrities who died at the age of 27, including Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Rolling Stone Brian Jones and Jimi Hendrix. Amy was just hitting her stride when she died.

One of the biggest stories is the movie, Where the Crawdads Sing, schedule for release on Friday an old south drama produced by Reese Witherspoon with Daisy Edgar Jones. It comes from the best selling novel by 73 yr old Delia Owens but it’s Ms. Owens who’s making huge news. Ms. Owens is being investigated for murder. Back In 1996 Ms. Owens was an animal activist in Zambia and is wanted in questioning of killing a big game poacher. This could be a movie in itself, and reportedly ABC’s Turning Point TV Show did a story on the killing and may have incriminating footage! Stay tuned.

News Nugget: WNBA star Brittney Griner’s guilty plea to bringing illegal Rx’s into Russia has lead high level prisoner exchange talks between the two countries. Which brings me to that idiot, LeBron James who says if he was Brittney he wouldn’t even return to the U.S., because the country hasn’t acted fast enough. Hey moron, she illegally entered Russia with Rx’s and they are trying to get her out. Meanwhile James is in bed with the Chinese with his basketball shoes. He should shut the front door!

Your listener, Scott, informed me yesterday was Heterochromia Day, people who have two different colored eyes and they include Kate Bosworth, Kiefer Sutherland,  Mila Kunis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey. They have a day for everything.
