Report for Wednesday, Feb 17th

Love Nuggets: So here’s some scoopage on Jennifer Aniston. Apparently she has some steadfast rules that she puts into a list for new beaus. The new beaus then have the decision, either except them or don’t and let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya. … We all remember Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton wearing vials of each others blood around their neck, now Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are doing the same.  Guess it’s better than spilling each others blood. Only in Hollywood folks.

T.V. News: So American Idol was 2 hours last Sunday and was soundly beaten the first hour by Queen Latifah’s Equalizer, but won the second hour when they rolled out KellyAnne Conway’s daughter Claudia who was put through but was horrible. In fact a gambling site put Claudia’s odds to be the American Idol winner at 500,000-1. Let’s face it, the only reason Claudia is on the show is for ratings. Which is pitiful. … Speaking of ratings and pitiful last week’s SNL ratings were in the toilet and not funny. … Good news, CSI is returning to CBS and the original star William Petersen is back too. … Speaking of returning, the Netflix series, Bridgerton, has been picked up for a second season. … And it’s a Done deal, Game of Thrones will be Saturday cartoon series on HBO Max.

Odds and Ends: Looking for a summer get-away? Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are selling their 20 acre Bahama Island with  6500 sq/foot home, 2  gazebos, only $35 million. … Speaking of Tim McGraw, he is the son of former N.Y. Met pitcher, Tug McGraw who I got to know when with the Dodgers during his last 2 years in the bigs. Great guy.

Show Business Business: Hollywood has moved a lot of production to New Zealand and Australia. As of today there are 22 films being shot down there, creating new support jobs from personal assistants to drivers to sound and lighting technicians. It’s all about the studios getting an incredible tax break from those countries, no taxes and oh yeah, no unions.
