Report for Wednesday, Dec 18th

So many great movies, it’s impossible to know all of them, no less see all of them. With that said, when the National Film Registry who votes in new movie inductees, movies that they declare are worthy of keeping forever and will be preserved forever in the Library of Congress. This years selections, Star Trek, Up In Smoke, Dirty Dancing, Pride of The Yankees,  Beverly Hills Cop, No Country for Old Men, Miracle Worker, My Own Private Idaho, Texas Chain Massacre, Wrath of Khan and 10 others. All these movies are worth seeing.

TV News: Netflix has announced a three part docu-series on Mike Tyson. The youngest heavyweight champion ever that will explore the man behind the gloves out of the ring! Baddest man on the planet, being jailed, drug abuse, total financial disaster. Guarantee, a lot of surprises. No air date set. … There is a date set for Joe Schmo Show, January 21st on TBS. Should be great. It is an extreme, harsh, outlandish physical reality competition show. Here’s the twist, there are 10 competitors but 9 are actually actors, and the 10th guy has no idea. Sounds hilarious!   

Got another list. According to the Music Editor at the Hollywood Reporter these were the best 10 albums of 2024. #10 Shaboozey, #9 Kasey Musgraves, #8 Tyla, #7 Kendrick Lamar. #6 Tems (love her), #5 Ariana Grande, #4 Sabrina Carpenter, #3 Usher, #2 Billie Eilish, #1 no not Taylor Swift, Beyonce. 

Legal beagles in Los Angeles tell me when the new Los Angeles District Attorney announces his decision on whether or not he will release the Menendez brothers, despite them being sentenced to life with out parole, he will say denied.

Finally with all these drones being spotted over New Jersey, there are now Drone Watch Parties complete with lots of booze and barbecue. The government says it’s nothing, but I don’t believe anything our government says. But that’s just me.
