Report for Wednesday, Aug 3rd

TV News: Ted Lasso received 20 Emmy Nominations and despite the announcement this was the final season, I’m hearing there will be another season after a year hiatus! … There’s a new series on Netflix called, Keep Breathing. It’s about a woman who hitches a ride on a small plane with a couple guys and the plane crashes in a lake in the middle of nowhere in Canada, and she’s the only survivor. My go to TV guy, Big Stu, loves it and it is in the Top 10 shows. A little slow, but you might like it, many do.

Where are they now department. Remember Dr. Conrad Murray, found guilty of involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson and did two year in prison of a four year sentence. Well Conrad is now living in Bimini in the Caribbean has built a heart care center for heart patients and is making a lot of money. And life goes on.

Odds and Ends: Tony Bennett turns 96 today and due to his advance alzheimers will not be making any personal appearances. And something you didn’t know about Tony, he was drafted in W.W.2 and helped liberate the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp. Wishing him well. … Huge story floating around England that Prince Harry may have a drinking problem! Harry is rarely seen out in public in L.A. compared to Meghan who is out and about with her friends a lot. And we all remember his nude parties in L.A., Vegas and N.Y. before getting married! … A Starbucks exec who will remain nameless tells me they aren’t closing the stores in the media because of crime, they’re closing because employees want a union. Oops. … Want bizarre? Gwyneth Paltrow now says she was miss-quoted, that yes, she still takes milk baths, saying it made Cleopatra beautiful, it’s good enough for her.

From my alma mater, the N.Y. Post Headline in case you missed it. Above a picture of a beautiful balcony with a huge gaping hole where a CIA drone blew it apart and killed Al-Qaeda guy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the headline screamed, “Killer View.”
