TV News: Sunday’s Emmys were 3rd least watched in history and that reminds me, when introducing Kaley Cuoco, Cedric the Entertainer called her Kaley Cuuoco. Say what? At the Emmys, there were 375 people in an enclosed room with nobody wearing masks and nobody had to prove they’ve been vaccinated, guess stars don’t think they can get it. Not at the Emmys, Jessica Simpson, Sharon Osbourne, Chris Rock, Hilary Duff, Drake, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nick Cannon, just some of the stars that have had Covid. Last Emmy note, Handmaid’s Tale, had 21 nominations and went 0-21, took the collar, no wins.
Odds and Ends: 25,000 Disney employees are suing for more money and benefits. When I was at KROQ I did a summer introducing bands at Disneyland and while I was paid decently it was obvious the regular employees were not. Almost ran like a gestapo. … Amy Schumer is in a hospital recovering from having her appendix and uterus removed and suffering from endometriosis. Not doing well. … A rich Jewish family is spending $20,000 dollars on their dog, a Bark Mitzvah, kid you not.
