Frank is the head of the charity who helps first responders who are disabled and the widows of first responders. But did you know how Tunnel to Towers began? On September 11th, Frank’s younger brother Stephan was a New York fire fighter and was on his was to play golf with Frank when he heard about the attack. Stephan immediately went to his work place N.Y. Firehouse, Ladder 42 suited up and was headed down the underground tunnel to the towers to try to help save people when it collapsed and Stephan died, and Tunnel to Towers was born by Frank as a tribute to his brother.
That reminds me, Pete Davidson and his sister Amy spend Sunday with other people who lost love ones on 9/11. Pete’s father was a N.Y. firefighter and died in the Towers.
