Divorce Nugget: Kanye West and Bianca Censori are kaput, she wanted the divorce, he’s fine with it! Kanye will pay her $20 million for her trouble! F.Y.I. Kanye’s net worth is $400 million, so he’ll be okay.
Personal Comment: P-Diddy’s mother has been calling media all over the world saying her boy is 100% innocent. I understand a mother wanting to support her child, but with over 30 State and Federal felonies counts against Diddy and maybe more to come, truth is, if Diddy is found guilty of these charges, makes her look like a bad or clueless mother! Silence is golden for now! And by the way, Diddy could be hit with interfering with the investigation. Diddy is having friends buy off victims with big bucks not to testify!
Box Office Update: Follow-up, while a lot of media is blasting the new Joker movie as bad and a huge financial flop, here’s my comment. I certainly agree it’s not as good as the last Joker. While it cost $200 million to make and made only $40 million opening weekend here, it made $125 million worldwide so not as big a bomb as some say.
Television News: Every year I mention this, and here I go again. I knew Dick Clark who created the American Music Awards and spent 18 hours with Dick from 6A.M. to midnight on the day of the show. Met him at his house for breakfast, spent every minute with him before the show at rehearsals, the live show and after party, doing a story for the N.Y. Post. You could only win an A.M.A. if you agreed weeks earlier to be at the live show! If you didn’t agree, you don’t win. The fix was and is in.
Sports Shorts: While Baseball playoffs are now, there is a great documentary streaming on Hulu and Prime called The League, the story of the Negro League. (4 Stars).
