Odds and Ends: I seldom agree with Whoopi Goldberg but I agree100% with her on this. That 88 year old Carolyn Bryant Donham should be investigated and be cross examined about her claim that 14 year old Emmett Till whistled at her in 1955 in a tiny market and she demanded he be punished and that lead to, in my opinion, the darkest moment in our country’s history. Emmet was tracked down by some raciest, bigot pigs who beat him to death and nobody was punished. The whole story is a movie entitled, Till, and it will be released a week from Friday, and I will be giving it 4 huge stars. Sadly enough, a Mississippi grand jury looked into it and they decided not to go forward. … More Whoopi, I thought it was an odd couple when Whoopi and Ted Danson lived together for years. During that time, Ted appeared in black face at a roast, and Whoopi wrote all his jokes. When asked about it, Whoopi said it was no big deal. I just thought it all a bit weird.
