Odds and Ends: Back in 2009 Mariah Carey said she knew she tended to be a jerk and was trying to improve her image, but it hasn’t worked. Mariah’s brother and sister are both suing the pop icon for defamation of character. It stems from her autobiography where she blames them, first husband Tommy Mottola, second husband Nick Cannon, her managers, agents and everybody else in her career for her terrible mistreatment. Mariah’s worth $500 million. … A personal thought. I’ve never hidden my feelings about LeBron James who, other than playing basketball, treats people like crap and is just a rude and mean person. On Sunday night he proved my point throwing an elbow at Boston Celtics Isaiah Stewart and then laughing about it. Stewart received a bloody slash over his eye. Lebron was ejected from the game and so was Stewart who, understandably, went after LeBron. … The twitter fight between Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears has spread with Lady Gaga, Cher, Tayler Swift and Katy Perry rushing to Spears side calling Aguilera selfish after saying, she didn’t want to talk about Britney’s new freedom and it didn’t effect her.
Happy Thanksgiving to Jussie Smollett, because he’s probably not going to have a great week next week. On Monday, he goes on trial for lying to police and fraud, and if found guilty, Jussie will then be sued by the city of Chicago for $1.2 million for the cost of investigating his false claims. Talk about a jerk, Smollet takes the cake.
Movie News: It is hard to believe that Bruce Willis has made a movie that is even worse than his last dozen horrible movies, the latest is called, Fortress. The official description is a group of criminals hellbent on revenge force a retired cop to come out of retirement and save the day. This film is so bad, Netflix turned it down. And Bruce’s acting has become embarrassing.
