Report for Tuesday, May 11th

Today’s report originates from Boston, Massachusetts.

Love Nugget: Turns out Alex Rodriguez spent Mothers Day with the mother of his children, Cynthia Scurtis. And, Cynthia and Alex seemed close and were holding hands. Meanwhile Ben Affeck did not spend Mother’s Day with his kids and their mother, Jennifer Garner. Ben was in Los Angeles with last weekend with the other Jennifer, Lopez.

Odds and Ends: In case you missed it, I want to make sure don’t.  Jamie Lynn Hiniker will face a judge today. The Minnesota theater manager, no not a Marcus theater, was busted last week for selling cocaine she stuffed in popcorn. Want a coke with that coke? … Arnold Schwarzenegger, the gropenator’s love child, 23 year old Joseph Baena has decided acting is not his cup of tea and has earned a real estate license and has already made some million dollar sales in Malibu. He’s a great guy, everybody loves this kid. … While Hollywood is always screaming people should not interfere with mother nature, no complaints to the Idaho government who have approved the killing of 90% of their wolves. And no complaints to the Arizona government who has approved the killing at least 12 buffalos. …

Award News: There is already talk of a Grammy and an Oscar for best song, for Gaga’s retention of Take My Breath Away, which is the theme song of Tom Cruise’s new Top Gun. And Gaga will also be releasing her second duet album with Tony Bennett on August 3rd, which is Tony’s 95th Birthday. Tony is also suffering from dementia.

Sports Nugget: Tim Tebow has been working out everyday with the Jacksonville tight end coaches. I hear it’s just a matter of time before the Jags sign Tebow to a deal. … And can’t be in Boston without going to the great Fenway Park and seeing the Sox. And how poetic, last time I was at Fenway was when I was traveling with the Angels and it’s the California Angels in town this week. I’ll have a dog and beer for you.

And a Boston Newspaper headline caught my eye, “Hospitals Resort to Hiring Doctors.”

Talk to you again tomorrow.
