Lots of TV News: While there have been almost a million jobs lost in the entertainment industry due to the virus, new subscriptions to platforms like Amazon, HBO, Netflix, Apple, Hulu and Disney+ have exploded, lots of folks binging at home.
Lot’s of Great Documentaries: Netflix and Hulu are fighting for the rights to Dr. Timothy Leary/Follow Me To Freedom. It is produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and will be Directed by Ronnie Howard. Leary is the father of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, better known as LSD. Back in the 60’s Richard Nixon called him the most dangerous man in the world. Never before seen footage of Leary and some of his celebrity buddies and It will also document his many, arrests and his escapes. All while decrying, Turn On, Tune In and Drop Out. … Netflix has landed Ball and Chain, a comedy movie starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. They will play a married couple that don’t get along, but accidentally discover they have Super Powers. I hear it’s going to be a hoot. Can’t wait.
Leonardo DiCaprio is also producing a TV Biopic of former Soviet Union President, Mikhail Gorbachev. Leonardo really wants John Goodman to play Gorbachev. … Follow-up on the Jeffrey Epstein/Filthy Rich documentary. In it Prince Andrew was obviously lying about hanging with Epstein and sexual assaulting minors. Just shameful behavior.
Speaking of crime, The LAPD has opened a sexual assault investigation into the cast and crew of TV show, Criminal Minds. Don’t know the details, but bet we’ll be hearing.
Odds and Ends: I just became a grandfather again, and Logan is only a week old but I’ve already changed a diaper or two. Which brings me to Kristen Bell, who doesn’t change her 5 year old son’s diaper, says a child shouldn’t be potty trained until it comes naturally, what the hell does that mean?
