Golden Globe Awards: While I didn’t go, I watched and the Hollywood Foreign Press gave the majority awards to the almost 4 hour, The Brutalist, Shogun, Emilia Perez and Baby Reindeer. What you never heard of them well they are all foreign made and it was the Foreign Press. But did honor Hacks, Wicked, Jean Smart and Demi Moore. Interesting, it was the first award of any kind that Demi Moore has ever received, she won for Best Actress in the movie The Substance. What you never heard of that movie either, no surprise, it’s only made $16 million is the U.S. and Canada. Better overseas! The best part was the host, comedian, the lovely and very funny Nikki Glaser. As for the show on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 4. Tomorrow the SAG Award nominations! … Speaking of Awards, a well deserved award for the character actor Keith Middlebrook who was in Iron Man 2 and 3, Moneyball, Las Vegas and many other films who was awarded 7 years in prison for mail fraud, wire fraud and stealing money from investors, using his acting skills convincing them he had found a cure for Covid!
TV Ratings: For the first time ever, all Top 10 shows last week were football games, 9 NFL and 1 college game. … And since Ryan Seacrest took over as Wheel of Fortune host, ratings are up 9%!
We have been together for so long, I feel like we are friends. Yesterday was one of the saddest days in Cheryl and my life. Bogey, our 16 year old Yorkie/Dachshund mix, died. If you have a dog you know how heartbreaking losing a dog is, a sad day for us Evans! There’s a picture of Bogey on my website, may our little guy rest in peace.
