I going to do something this morning I’ve never done before. I’m going to this big party to watch the National Championship football game, I’m going over there in about an hour so I’m recording this before the game has even started. I predict Ohio State has defeated Notre Dame in the Championship game, note the time when I sent this. I promise to take a bow or wipe the egg off my face on Wednesday.
Back to things I am sure of. As far as the Inauguration, It was like my old buddy Jim McKay once said, “It was the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.” But that’s like every Inauguration, all I can say, I’m just happy and thrilled to be an American and wish Donald Trump wisdom to make good decisions and protect America! The great thing is, we are the only country in the world that changes power every four years, is done peacefully with pomp and circumstance and hand shakes!
Back to the land of the fruits, nuts and flakes, Hollywood. And we start off with TV News. If you haven’t seen or heard of Landman, it’s a great show currently running, must see on Paramount+. And here are a couple old series that if you haven’t seen Episodes, it’s great. And another one is Big Sky, that aired on ABC back in 2020. Three seasons, all great, streaming on Hulu. And shame, shame if you didn’t see Breaking Bad that aired 15 years ago with 5 seasons, streaming on Paramount+. Another show playing now on Hulu and gets 4 Stars from me, Elton John: Still Standing! Just fabulous, even if you are not a huge Elton fan.
The Television Academy of Arts and Sciences have named the all time best medical shows on TV. The Top 5 are #5 House, #4 The Knick, which was on Cinemax Network, #3 St. Elsewhere, #2. M*A*S*H, #1 ER. For me, my favorite was the old M*A*S*H.
