Report for Tuesday, Dec 21st

Here’s some scoop. We don’t know why the Hampton police stopped Alec Baldwin Saturday but Alec has not turned over his cell phones as ordered by a court warrant and another warrant may be issued for his wife’s phone and Alec’s laptop.

Here’s where some stars will spend Christmas. Simon Cowell is in Barbados, Gwyneth Paltrow and Mariah Carey are in Aspen, and Taylor Swift is in Nashville.

Movie News: And a couple lists I hope you’ll check out during the Holidays. First, my favorite five music documentaries. #5, Summer Of Soul, the Woodstock of great black artists shot in 1969 in Harlem. #4, Controlling Britney, the shocking story that will surprise everybody who sees it. #3, The Jesus Music, a story that explores the explosion of Christian based music over the past 50 years. #2, The Beatles: Get Back, never before seen personal Beatles footage that is all compelling. And #1, Surprise, The Sparks Brothers. I’ve known Russell and Ron Mael (a.k.a. Sparks) since the 80’s and only Frank Zappa had a more strange approach to music and the world. The movie interviews some of the music worlds biggest stars, all pouring praise and tributes on the Sparks! They are a one of a kind, 50 years, 25 albums, 354 songs. (5 Stars).

Next, I love Rotten Tomatoes Top 5 Christmas Movies. They are #5, 1966’s 26 minute film, How the Grinch Stole Stole Christmas. #4, 1940’s, The Shop Around The Corner, starring James Stewart and Margaret Sullivan, who work at a gift shop but can’t stand each other till Christmas changes them. #3, Holiday Inn from 1942 with Bing Crosby, a true classic and the debut of the song, White Christmas. #2, Miracle on 34th  Street, from 1947 another oldie but goodie, with Maureen O’Hara and the debut of 7 year old Natalie Wood, and the question, is there really a Santa Clause finally? and  #1, It’s A Wonderful Life, All are (4 Stars). All these films, they are all listed on my website along with Cheryl and I singing a Christmas song that I guarantee, will make you laugh out loud.
