Report for Tuesday, Dec 13th

Love Nuggets: I don’t get it, ABC making a big deal about Amy Robach and J.T. Holmes having an affair, they’ve been suspended, not allowed back on the air pending a further investigation. Say what? It’s the 21st Century, two consenting adults! What the hell? … And despite a big deal being made over the weekend when Susan Sarandon confirmed she was bi-sexual, ah, Susan first admitted being bi about 35 years ago! No big deal.

The Golden Globe nominations were announced and Everything Everywhere All At Once lead all films, and it is streaming everywhere. Everything Everywhere All At Once is one of the most bizarre movies you’ll every see, but I gave it 4 Stars back in June. The next two movies with the most nominations were The Fableman’s, the story about Stephan Spielberg’s childhood, and Babylon staring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and others about Hollywood in the 20’s which will be released Christmas Eve. Both 4 Stars.

TV News: If you have Showtime, please checkout George and Tammy, the inside story of country stars George Jones and Tammy Wynette starring Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain. It’s a 4 Star mini-series. One of the best of the year. … There will be a Game of Thrones spin about Jon Snow, who we last saw in the final episode we saw Snow in jail about to be beheaded. … When the second three part Harry and Meghan documentary drops on Wednesday, Harry calls his brother William a liar and told other people to lie about him, So much for brotherly love.

Movie Shocker: Father Stu starring Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson, the true story about a professional boxer turned Priest opened Friday and made only $108,000! Horrible! On the other hand, Branden Frazier’s The Whale set the 2022 record for the biggest limited release film. The Whale will be released nation wide next week.

Odds and Ends: And this is really odd, Nick Carter got a standing ovation at a Christmas concert over the weekend, just four days after being accused of raping a minor.

Bulletin: Is It True, Mark Zuckerberg may shutdown Facebook in 2023? Stay tuned.
