And speaking of the Golden Globes, the nominations were out yesterday and here are my odds on favorites to win the big categories.
Best Move Drama — I think its a toss up between 1917, The Irishman, and Joker. … Best Movie Comedy — The movie I loved that nobody saw, Dolemite Is My Name, Rocketman, or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also could win this category.
Best Actress in a Drama — Cynthia Erivo in Harriet, or Renee Zellweger in Judy.
Best Actor in a Drama — Christian Bale in Ford v Ferrari, but don’t count out Joaquin Phoenix in Joker.
Best Actress in a Comedy — Awkwafina should win for The Farewell
Best Actor in a Comedy — a three way race for Eddy Murphy in Dolemite Is My Name, Leonardo DiCaprio in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Taron Eagerton in Rocketman.
Best Director — I’d say either Sam Mendez for 1917, or Tod Philips for Joker.
You should see all of these films, they are all great.

So I have this know-it-all son-in-law, who has tried to con me into buying stocks in several cannabis companies. Well I passed, and an update, all three have tanked with news that they were the biggest suppliers of vaping companies, and the FDA is investigating them all.
