Report for Tuesday, Aug 31st

Anti-Love Nugget: I told last week that both the New York district attorney and FBI wanted to talk to Jeffrey Epstein’s pal Prince Andrew about statutory rape, even conspiracy to sexually assault a minor, now the D.O.J. is demanding Andrew appear. Stay tuned.

Music Notes: Don’t know who to believe. Tito Jackson, Michael’s brother, says there’s never before heard Michael Jackson songs that are going to be released in an album. However, Michael’s daughter, Paris, says that’s not true! But doesn’t say what part isn’t true, that there’s new songs or that there are new songs but won’t be released. … With the death of Charlie Watts, a good friend of the band says if it wasn’t for Charlie, the Rolling Stones would have been disbanded, broken up and gone by the 70’s. Charlie was like a father to Mick Jagger and Kieth Richards and often kept them from self-destruction with drugs and huge fights with each other. Without Charlie, there would be no Stones.

Movie News: Jungle Cruise 2 the sequel is green lighted by Disney and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt will be back. For the record, the first movie cost $201 million to make, it’s made $101 million domestic and $201 million world wide. However there’s a lot more revenue to come, streaming, sales, free TV and merchandising.

Weather Report: Disney channel’s superhero series Ultra Violet and Black Scorpion, Netflix’s movie We Have a Ghost and NBC’s limited series The Thing about Pam, all had temporary soundstages built just outside NALO, a.k.a. New Orleans, all destroyed.

Odds and Ends: One of the nicest celebrities I have ever interviewed is Tony Dow, a.k.a. Wally, Leave It to Beaver’s brother. Tony’s in the hospital, wishing him a big get well!

TV News: Tomorrow on ABC, Superstar and the profile of the late Richard Pryor. … They are currently in pre-production of the Yellowstone prequel, set in 1883 and starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Same writers, should be great, can’t wait!

Billionaire Trivia: Robert Downey Jr. spent a week living with Elon Musk to research how a billionaire lives before shooting Iron Man where he plays Billionaire Tony Stark.
