Movie News: I am hearing great things about Weird: The Al Yankovick Story movie. I met Al before he was famous, I’ve told you the story about Al’s very first live concert. I MC’d the show, Al was opening for the Missing Persons at the Santa Monica Civic and he got booed off stage crying like a baby. But within the year Al was famous! Daniel Radcliffe plays Al and Rain Wilson has a huge part playing another old friend of mine, the great Dr. Demento formally of KMET who actually made Al a star. There’s also a great story Al having sex with Madonna who is played by Evan Rachel Wood. Coming to Roku in November. Guarantee there are things about Al you have never heard!
Nobody knows what the plot is about, but a lot of buzz about the next big DC Comic movie, WONDER TWINS. It will star that hottie, Isabel May, who was Elsa Dutton in 1883 the Yellowstone prequel and KJ Apa the star of Riverdale TV series. Can’t wait.

TV Warnings, there are two horrible shows you do want to miss. Mike, the Mike Tyson bio-series on Hulu got a lot of publicity, but it sucks and so does Housewives of Miami on Bravo. You wonder how these shows make it to television and so far my book hasn’t!

Who would watch, Bupkis, a new comedy series that follows Pete Davidson’s life in Stanton Island, New York. And why in the world would Edie Falco and Joe Pesci agree to be regular cast members? I’m sorry, sounds hideous and Pete Davidson isn’t funny!
