Every year I plug the Little League World Series and once the team from Hawaii are headed to Williamsport, my Honolulu affiliate, KSSK, already knowns this great story. Tyler Shindo is a remarkable pitcher for Hawaii and a kid with a lot of honor. He is a great left handed pitcher and a great right handed pitcher, 100% ambidextrous! As his team heads to Williamsport, the biggest youth sporting event, Tyler will instead play for a USA Youth team in No. Carolina because he promised to play for them 5 months ago, before his Little League Team made it to the series. Great pitcher, great kid.
