Report for Thursday, Sept 30th

The big news, Britney’s conservatorship got one more step closer to ending yesterday and it can’t happen fast enough when Britney can say, free at last! And a sidebar you haven’t heard about yet. I hear that Jamie Spears lost millions of Britney’s money on gambling. Casinos and football games. If true, that would be illegal use of her money as head of the conservatorship and punishable by jail and fines.

Movie News: I have not seen the new James Bond movie yet, No Time to Die. However, a friend who has summed it up in 10 words calls it ridiculous, silly, hilarious, thrilling, sexy, great effects, great direction very long. And that Ana De Armas was the real star of the movie. On a scale of 1-10, gave it a 9. U.S. release October 8th.

L.A. Times and the Southern California Tourist Bureau have listed the Top 5 places to visit in SoCal, and there’s no Disneyland, Universal studios or Magic Mountain.

#5 Original Framers Market on 3rd and Fairfax, which is the #1 place I tell people is the best place to spot celebrities.

#4 Reagan Museum including the old AF1 you can tour.

#3 Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.

#2 The USS Midway Aircraft Carrier in San Diego pier that you can tour.

#1 The beaches from Malibu to Newport, which is 71 miles of paradise.

Odds and Ends: Head’s up, Eminem is considering a run for office in Michigan. … Noteworthy but not at all surprising. First, Bill Cosby continues to spew that R. Kelly was wrongly accused and found guilty of sexual crimes. And second, N.E. Patriot owner Robert Kraft calling his coach Bill Belichick the biggest F-ing A-hole in his life. … Three day old news but I have to comment. I’ve always loved Shaquille O’Neal, going back to the day covering him and Kobe. But now more than ever because of him denouncing his celebrity status saying, “Celebrities think they are better than everybody, in reality they’re opposite.” Well said! … Four movie reviews and Batter Up tomorrow.
