Report for Thursday, Oct 28th

Love Nuggets: I broke the story 2 months ago that Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd were dating, mentioned it again last week. Now I hear they have moved in together. Angelina is 46 and The Weeknd is 31.

The Press conference in New Mexico regarding the Alec Baldwin case didn’t add a lot, but to me, the most interesting news is there were 500 rounds found, the FBI is involved, there could be a Grand Jury, there could be multiple arrest, the investigation could take months, and a new possible charge, Reckless Disregard.

Movie News: The script, tentative casting and crew are already set for the sequel of the next Dune movie. Shooting schedule is next July, release Labor Day 2023. … Casting News, I told you earlier in the week that Ryan Gosling was cast as Ken in the Barbie movie and now word Gosling has been cast as the new Wolfman. That’s range! … I am thrilled that the Blues Brothers docs-series is a go with the blessings from both Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi’s estate, along with John Candy and Carrie Fisher’s estates who were in the movie version. The series will go back to when Aykroyd and John  came up with the idea. Film of their meetings to create the Blues Brothers, rehearsals and tons of never before seen footage. Prime, Apple, Netflix are already bidding for the rights.

Odds and Ends: Good news, ports in Florida and Texas say they can start taking the ships backed up in California. Great news, The states most affected with empty shelves are New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, North and South Carolina, and Georgia. Least affected, California, Texas, Idaho, Washington, and Nevada. … I remember when a daily pass to Disneyland cost $20. New rates just announced, daily pass for weekend and holidays have been raised to, ready, $164 per person. … Harvey Weinsleeze will be back in court next month in California and I am reminded that when this story broke, there were several stars who came to Wiensleez’s support, and they included Ben Affleck, Colin Firth, Susan Sarandon and Quentin Tarantino.
