Report for Thursday, Oct 20th

Love Nuggets: It is official, Billy Ray Cyrus is engaged to singer Firerose and yes, because of it Billy and daughter Miley are estranged.

TV News: I told about Netflix’s mini-series, The Watcher, a month ago and is now available and it is 4 stars, based on a true story. Take my word, it is creepy but fabulous. … For the record, House of the Dragon lost another 200,000 viewers last week.

Show Bizz Business: No surprise that streaming is the thing of the future and Paramount+ will start streaming December 8th in Switzerland, France, Austria and Germany.

Odds and Ends: Britney Spears says the first thing she wants to so is an X rated movie! Again the more you hear Britney talk, the more evident she needs the conservatorship. … I was on Amazon yesterday, bought a couple long sleeve thermal T-Shirts for $9 each! … While Hailey Bieber bought some Prada bedroom slippers and paid $1,102. I wouldn’t spend $1100 for bedroom slippers no matter how much money I had, would you? … The biggest Fashion Shows are The Paris, Milan, London Fashion shows, and the New York Met Gala. But now Hollywood wants to be the biggest fashion show in the world and Jennifer Lopez, Diane Keaton, Demi Moore and Mila Kunis are the sponsors.

Here’s some real Rock and Roll History. 45 years ago today Lynyrd Skynyrd’s plane crashed, so 45 years ago last night was the last time Ronnie Van Zant sang the great, “Free Bird.” Skynyrd’s drummer, Artimus Pyle survived, and he has put together a tribute album that includes Dolly Parton singing “Free Bird” and other great artist like Sammy Hagar. There’s a biography movie about the plane crash called, Street Survivors. It is 4 stars and can be found on streaming platforms. … A national study shows when pre kindergartners start school, there is zero, zip, no racial bias with the kids. They’re obviously taught bias at school. I’m just the messenger.

Sports Shorts: Prediction, with the NBA and NHL just starting, I say the Lakers will not make the play-offs and the Colorado Avalanche will win the Stanley Cup, again.
