So Sears is going under, and I want to share a personal story about Sears. When I was 14, my dad, in the Navy, had been transferred from Hawaii to Long Beach. I was walking home from school and a block away from home, when two guys on bikes yelled at me, “Hey your house burned down!” Walked around the corner and sure enough, my house was burned to the ground. A Sears guy was putting in a dryer, forgot to turn off the gas, blew up the house, and we lost everything. That’s my Sears memory.
